In 1946, the twin towns of Texarkana, Texas, and Texarkana, Arkansas, were haunted by a serial killer. Known as the Phantom Killer because he could not be caught, the murderer attacked eight people; five of the victims died. The case remains unsolved, and the only evidence is a palm print.
Although there have been several films about The Town that Dreaded Sundown, this is the first time there has been a modern re-telling of the legend. Based only that there was Phantom crime spree, Sundown presents a sinister twist.
